The customer, whose name will be kept confidential as per Fortem’s security policy, designs unmanned, autonomous vehicles to solve global issues in agriculture, logistics, and several other industries.
The items purchased were TrueView® radars, which will be used for detect-and-avoid purposes, promoting safe and collision-free flight for the customer’s airborne systems. “We’re impressed by [REDACTED]’s forward-thinking ideas, and we’re happy to be a part of them,” said Adam Robertson, Fortem Technologies’ Chief Technology Officer. “The world is rapidly moving toward the future they are planning for, where solutions like theirs will be vital.”
Fortem’s TrueView® radars are renowned for their emphasis on drone detection. At the time of writing, the TrueView® line consists of the R20, an ultra-compact AESA radar, and the R30, which offers even greater performance.
