PLEASANT GROVE - June 24, 2020 --
Fortem Technologies, a leader in airspace security and defense for detecting and defeating dangerous drones, reached an agreement last Monday with a large US metropolitan police agency. Multiple spokespersons at the company described the sale as a landmark event, with Fortem CEO Timothy Bean providing the following statement.
“Law enforcement is finally getting involved. Progress is being made every day.” The items purchased were TrueView® R20 radars, which officers will use — with FCC approval — to detect and track drones trespassing in restricted airspace.
