power, and cost
Fortem TrueView is a family of cost-effective and efficient (compact) military-tested radar solutions, optimized for both air-to-air manned and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and for longer range ground-to-air applications.
TrueView includes AI-enabled detection and classification to provide a complete view of local airspace. It provides early warning of intrusive or non-cooperative air traffic, enabling safe beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operation, as well as awareness and intelligence for both aircraft operators (pilots) and ground-to-air detection and monitoring.
TrueView is available for international markets and is not restricted by ITAR regulations.
As prioritized by the FAA and NASA, radar technology is the foundational sensor for UAS airspace management strategies. TrueView is a small, compact, powerful radar detection system providing tracking capabilities that monitor a marked or defined airspace, and reports all airborne activity within that space.
Fortem TrueView radar's compact size and light weight allows it to be fix mounted on drones and other Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) to provide Detect And Avoid (DAA) capabilities for Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS) operations.
TrueView's detection range and Field Of View (FOV), provides 'best-fit radar technology" for drone intrusion detection and monitoring, providing complete local airspace awareness.
The Fortem TrueView radar comes in four models: the model R20, R30, R60, and the Fortem DAN-C radar. The Fortem DAN-C (Detect Assistance Non-Cooperative) is adapted to work in manned aircraft as part of an overall avionics solution integrated with technologies such as ADS-B, while the other models are targeted for unmanned BVLOS and ground-based radar solutions.
