Fortem Technologies Enables Advanced Airspace Awareness for One of Nation’s Top Communications Providers
SkyDome System with TrueView radar provides complete picture of the airspace for safe and secure operations
Pleasant Grove, Utah - August 18, 2021 -- Fortem Technologies, leaders in airspace security and defense for detecting and defeating dangerous drones, today announced one of the nation’s top communication providers as a new customer. The customer purchased the SkyDome® System, including TrueView® R-30 ground-based radar and SkyDome Manager software to better understand what is in the airspace and whether it poses a threat to their infrastructure.
“Drones are an efficient way to perform many operations,” said Timothy Bean, CEO of Fortem Technologies. “SkyDome with AI-at the edge delivers industry leading, clean detection and reliable categorization of objects in the airspace so there is no harm.”
TrueView is the world leader in low size, weight and power consumption (SWaP-C), and is an active electronically scanned phased array radar (AESA). With a powerful combination of multi-channel beamform on receive, 16 digital channels, and multi-dimensional deep learning, TrueView radar can discern patterns of life and anomalies in the scene in order to accurately identify targets. It delivers superior 3D detection of targets using real-time AI at the Edge with a screaming fast graphics processing unit (GPU). A key component of the SkyDome System, TrueView easily scales for complete coverage in topologically complex environments.
