Fortem Technologies Adds Robert Cardillo to Government Advisory Board
Pleasant Grove, UT-- July 6, 2021 -- Fortem Technologies, a leader in airspace security and defense for detecting and defeating dangerous drones, announced today the addition of Robert Cardillo, president of The Cardillo Group and four-time Wash100 Award recipient, to its Government Advisory Board (GAB). During his 35 years of public service, Cardillo served in leadership positions with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Before forming The Cardillo Group in May 2019, Cardillo served as the sixth director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) from 2014 to 2019. During his time with the agency, Robert transformed the Agency’s future value proposition through innovative partnerships with the growing commercial geospatial marketplace.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University and a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from Georgetown University. In 2019, he received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Saint Louis University.
Fortem’s GAB, formed in November of 2020, is composed of former military, intelligence, and federal government executives across civilian, defense, and intelligence sectors. The Board actively provides strategic insights to help the company further advance the work and goals of the U.S. government and its allies.
